CIC 568 Week 1

Wow, it's May already!

This challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations

is to celebrate our Mother's and or Special Female's in our lives.

This is going to be my first Mother's Day since losing my Mom.

In honor of her, I made this card.  You may say, what does this have to do with her?

Her favorite hobby was oil painting.  She loved it so much!

My siblings and I have her paintings around our houses.

When I saw our sponsor PJ Moore Illlustrations had this adorable image,

I asked if we could highlight it and Tricia was so kind so agree.

I also used an old Stampin Up stamp set for the paint stripes & sentiment.

So, that is the story behind my card.

It was so fun to make and sad at the same time.
