A second posting in a day!  I've been busy making holiday cards.  This so cute image is also from Dearie Dolls Digi.  A simple, fun and bright card.  I added a three red rhinestones and glitter on the snow and snowflakes.

Just wanted to share - I made a pack of note cards for a family member's holiday gift.  I found this fun paper at Archiver's with the black and white chevron on the back.  I used a strip of it for the card.   No stamping for this family member, she likes very modern styled things.

Yes, two in one day. I am on a stamping roll.  I made this Halloween card using Dearie Dolls digital stamp.  I am going to be sending this one to my son at college.

Here goes my scanner again not getting the true orange color on the background card.  In person it is bright orange, almost florescent.

Penguin Birthday

Happy Wednesday!Halfway through the week, and it is flying by for me.  So much stamping to do and not enough time.

For today's card I used 2 Cute Ink's digital stamp "Happy Birthday Penguin".  Makes a great  birthday card for just about anyone!  I have to tell you though, in person, my pink card stock really goes well with the polka dots.  On the computer here, not so much.  Colors just don't always translate.  Oh, well what can one do.  You'll just have to trust me LOL.

Back to School

YIPPEE!! I will say it for all us Mom's out there. School is in session soon, if your's isn't already. My son starts tomorrow. It's time for the teenagers in my life to get back, and get up before noon. LOL!! Today I used 2 Cute Ink's, Kitty Back Pack digital image. You can purchase it HERE. It makes a cute card to stick in your younger child's lunch to wish them a fun day at school or a welcome back to their teacher. I added a little sentiment from a stamp I already had, and thought was cute for the Kitty. Colored with Copic Markers and added a few freckles to add interest. My Mom happens to be a painter and this could be great for an occasion for her! Good thing she doesn't have a computer to see. LOL! Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Scuba Owl!

I am so excited for another week of new digital release images from Heidi, at 2 Cute Ink! Each one is cuter than the next! I have used Scuba Owl. I used Copic Markers to color in the image. A paper piercer to give the card texture and highlight the image. A Corner Rounder punch to round the edges of the card and, I used my own sentiment that works just perfect for this cute scuba diving owl then popped it out. A little ribbon and bright paper makes for a cheerful card. This is a great card layout to use up some of those paper scraps you have laying around. Staying Cool with Alligator Swim

Good Wednesday Morning to Everyone!! With the heat coming on this week I hope everyone is staying cool. I know this Alligator is. This oh so cute Alligator Swim image from 2 Cute Ink is staying cool with his swim tube. That is after he took a few bites from my card as I was making it tee hee. I used a Sizzix texture folder with my Big Shot to make the faux animal skin on the green card stock and used a scalloped circle punch for the "bites". I colored it with Prisma Colored Pencils and used Odorless Mineral Spirits and paper stumps to blend the colors. Stay cool and go get your very own Alligator Swim image here.

I want to share my card I made using 2 Cute Ink's new image, Hedgie the Hedgehog. Using the accessory pack that comes with it, I made my card, patriotic, using the flag heart. Quillie New Digital Release

Happy Wednesday! Today is day three of sample cards using 2 Cute Ink's new digital release, Quillie the Porcupine. He is just darling. On my Father's Day card, I used the accessory "tools" that come with Quillie. On my Thank You card I used the "Thank You" wording that comes with the accessories and the dandelion. I made a row of dandelions with grass by just pasting in the dandelions several times. I printed Quillie out, colored him with Copic Markers and cut him out and layered one dandelion under his paw. With Father's Day and many many male birthdays in my life this month, I made this card to begin my masculine card making. The "dude" is from Bugaboo Stamps and the background stamps and wording is from the A-Muse stamp set Rock Star. Fun and bright. Entered in Card Makin Mamas Challenge #47 Father's Day/Special Man Cards.

Good Wednesday Morning! Today I used 2 Cute Ink's image, Cat Knit. You can purchase it here. I have to say this is my favorite! I learned to crochet at nine thanks to my Grandma and haven't stopped since. This kitty makes me smile every time I see it. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Good Morning! It's a little chilly here, but the sun is shining and that's what counts with me! Today at 2 Cute Ink, they are having another new digital image release. It is called Little Owl. I used A-Muse's Mad for Plaid stamps (thank you Marisa) for the plaid background. I just love it! The Little Owl is colored with Copic markers. Not A Card

Today's post isn't a card at all. I made a tag for a gift of chocolate sprinkle cookies I made for my bff's father, who recently had surgery. I was told he loves anything chocolate, so I baked, then packed them in a cute stack into a cello bag, tied the bag with a ribbon and made a tag using 2 Cute Ink's image, Owl Miss you. You can purchase this image here. My picture isn't perfect as I had only minutes before I had to run them to my friend who was leaving to deliver them for me. Digital stamps can be used to make so much more than cards! Create and have fun.

A Little Wednesday Inspiration

Good Morning everyone! Hope it is a beautiful sunny day where you are today. I made my card today using Penguin Doodle from 2 Cute Ink. You can purchase all 2 Cute Ink's images here. Who says orange and black is only for Halloween? I had this cute alphabet paper and thought it would make a cute notecard with this image. Since the Penguin is obviously black, I wanted to make him pop out more so I highlighted him with black paper too. The polka dot strip and ribbon adds texture and breaks up the background a bit. The image is colored with Copic Markers. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Brayer Technique

Just a quick post today. I made this card using 2 Cute Ink's, Easter Chick. The rainbow layer, behind the chick, I made by using a multi-color ink pad and a brayer on glossy card stock. It is a super cool technique that I have done many times over the years. Enjoy!

Tuesday Inspiration 3/20/12

Happy Tuesday! My card inspiration today is made with 2 Cute Ink's brand new Birthday Dino. This image was so fun to color!!! My boy's favorite toys when they were little were their dinosaurs. I have small spots of glitter on the balloons, his spots and heart, cupcake and party hat. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Shamrock Turtle

It is only a few days away from St. Patrick's Day, so I thought it was a good time to make this card using 2 Cute Ink's, Shamrock Turtle image. I enlarged the turtle twice to get the 4 extra large clovers and cut them to embellish. Isn't this little turtle cute?
